Hippitus Hoppitus '13

Spring is in our midst, and one of the first signals of the change in season is the emergence of the bunny ears! Easter arrived this past weekend, and as seen in the above pictures, there were bunnies all around the Shannon household! Ethan has firmly grasped the concept of "presents", and was super excited to get his Easter basket. He was an extra lucky boy, because he also got a basket from Grammy Litsch, and even Grammy Rechenberg mailed a box full of presents (and of course some peeps). In the afternoon, while Daddy was at a gig, Mommy took the kids out in the backyard and had an Easter egg hunt. It was an overall nice Easter for the Shannon 4.

Violet spent the day in oblivion of the idea of presents, just hanging out, being the overall amazing baby that she is all the time. She is such a happy little girl, so quick to smile at anyone, and always laughs when her brother plays with her. For as off the wall as Ethan can be sometimes, he is so great with Violet. He loves to dance around in front of her and watch her crack up at him. When it's time to wake her up from her nap, Ethan has to be the first one in the room to greet her with a big "HI VIOLET"! It's going to be great when she is a little bit bigger, and can really keep up with Ethan, but for now, Ethan has to do the running for the both of them, which he has no problem doing.
